Mobile Health Clinic
Partnerships, hard work, and time have made a dream come true! The mobile medical unit is up and running taking much needed vaccinations and more to many who would otherwise not receive the care. Side by Side’s partnership with a local NGO, Ubuntu Evolution Hub, has proven to be both wise and productive.
Led by Dr. Simonia Magardie and working with the Dept. of Health, Ubuntu has put the wheels of the mobile unit into motion. The Dept. of Health has been in awe of the number of people being reached and we are confident the work will grow.
In addition to the mobile unit, a permanent clinic building is now under construction at the Klipkop site and is scheduled for completion in mid-August.
