STM delegates will spend time with current and prospective South Africa partners discussing projects in progress and exploring other service options for 2014.

The major event for both STM and North Point this trip is the grand
celebration of the opening
of the new Klipkop
community center/church on Feb. 22.

North Point members will also be working with the men of Aliwal North on the development of a “rocket mass heater.” This simple and highly efficient heat source for homes in the settlements burns materials that are inexpensive and readily available. The team hopes that, ultimately, the joint project will provide business opportunities for men trained with these construction skills.

Others from North Point will be working with children in the various day care centers that have been developed with STM help.

Thank you for joining us as we serve.  We could not do it without you.
